In Windows 8.1 and later, the F8 boot menu with additional boot options is disabled by default. To enable it, run in the command line:
bcdedit /set {default} bootmenupolicy legacy
Now, by pressing F8 at the start of the computer, you can get to the menu with a choice of boot options.
