Options for starting the recovery environment in different versions of Windows.
- Press F8 when starting the computer.
In some BIOSes, the F8 key is used to enter the Boot Menu, in which case, when it appears, you need to select the boot disk, press Enter and continue to press F8.

- Restart the computer while holding down Shift
- Restart the computer at the command line:
shutdown /r /o /t 0
- If the system does not boot and it is not possible to use the above methods, you can turn off the computer twice incorrectly. On a stationary PC, when the Windows logo appears, you need to press the reset button on the system unit, on a laptop, hold the power button for a few seconds. After the second incorrect shutdown, the system will automatically start the recovery environment at startup.
